Cold Today

Whew, I had to turn my heater on for the first time today. We are trying to wait a little longer to turn them on, but I can't do my daily chores wearing a blanket. Time to buy some wool socks for everyone. And I need to put all my wool blankets under our comforters too.

We will try to keep the house around 55 to 60 degrees F, to save electric bill this winter. We can all wear layer clothing to keep warm. Every winter every time someone comes to visit, they always say that our is so warm. This time they don't have to worry about it.

Anyway, I hate the smell of newly turned on baseboard heater. I think all the dust are burning and it stinks.

So, how the temperature in your neck of the woods? How warm do you keep your house?
