Hunting Season Starts Monday

My husband is off work Monday because his boss is going hunting. I guess he is being nice by telling them they don't need to work, since he is not going to be around. My husband used to hunt with friends before I met him. His friends are now gone and move to another state and does not go hunting anymore. It would be nice to have the healthiest meat around for the rainy days. The good thing about him not going hunting because he lost the scope on one of his rifle and we have not bought a replacement yet. Furthermore, we are also lucky for not buying it early because Nikon Black Friday Promo can save us a bundle. Waiting works out to our favor after all.

No Raw milk

It's kinda hard to get raw milk from our friends place now. Vince (our friend) left and now working for an organic farm in Vermont. His mother and sister took over taking care of his cows and milking two cows. I'm not sure how much milk they can get from each but DH told that one cow can produce 10 gallons a day. If milk twice a day.

Now every time I go over there they don't have milk to sell. Then I would asked when can I come back. His mother usually tells me the day but on Wednesday (a day before Thanksgiving) she told me to come back. She didn't set the time because she said she will be home all day. DH went there to pick it up but no one is home. He said looks like Vince is back because his car is on the driveway but no one answer the door.

DH had to drive half hour to get raw milk for our consumption. But we like their milk, we don't want to go somewhere else to buy any but this time DH had to. I don't want my children drinking store bought milk anymore. I'm dreading going back there, I don't like confrontation. We like them and I don't think selling milk is their priority right now. They can probably get away not selling it to us. They are well off family and selling 25 dollars worth of milk a week is not worth it for them.

Every time we get use to something it always taken away from us. I love their milk too, not like the ones my DH bought at the other farm. Sad.

This was the second time they did this to us. Last time I told her I'll be after 3 days, when I got there she told me that I told her that I'll be back the day before the 3rd day. I was like what ever (to myself), I told her the day too, but it seems that she heard it wrong. So the day I came back she don't have any milk, and told me that she save me a few gallons a day before. I had enough to last for three days, and there is no way I'll come back before the day I told her that I'll be back.

DC end up drinking the non nutritional value, no natural ingredients milk from the store for 3 days. Yuck.

We really need to buy a bigger property to have some cows to milk.

Gift Ideas for My Young Children

Time flies so fast when one is busy catching up on things. Once the school started, I keep telling myself that there are plenty of times to shop for Christmas, and enough time to find what my children like. Now it’s almost December and I haven’t started yet. I don’t even have time to browse the online circular to find the best deal on toys. My children love watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, I am thinking about buying mickey mouse cars for my youngest son. I am very sure that he will enjoy playing with it because he loves cars. My daughter loves to draw and I’m sure she will like the smART easel along with her brothers who enjoy the same.

My children are using so much paints, crayons, markers, and papers since I started them with home school. I may as well give them school supplies along with their toys for Christmas, in my opinion. I enjoy giving learning materials as a gift to anyone. You better watch out when you invite me to your birthday and other occasions because that is what you’re getting from me. Furthermore, it would be different if you have a gift lists to pick from.

You will find the Mickey Mouse Car, smART easel, crayons, markers and more at MEGA Brand Toys. Please take a few minutes to pick on their toy selection by clicking the link above.

What A Day!

DC refused to do extra class yesterday. We only done 4 subjects and they said they are done. I wanted to add another subject to even up the days ahead. And today was very hectic. We did not get done until 5pm. No, we are not doing the class the whole day but it feels that way.

First, DS had a meeting with his homeroom teacher and the IEP teacher. Remember the mean teacher I talked about, yup that was her. They did some reading practice online. First I'm having hard time using the microphone, and figure out later when they are done that we need to use the mic like a walkie talkie. I thought we only need to press it once and figure he can talk on it...wrong.

They finally called me over the phone and they used the phone instead. During the meeting he needed to type something on the screen, find the feature easily and done what they ask but it wasn't coming up. So, they decided to let my son say it instead of typing. They could have done it in the very beginning to save some time. Oh well.

Then my DD had a meeting around 10:30am an hour after DS. The meeting is about using the online feature that my DS used ealier. We could have use that before he started. It's done and over with and hoping he don't need to do it in a month. So we waisted about one hour and half doing all the meeting today. I can't teach the other one while the other is on the meeting because it get very noisy.

Then DS computer always shut down when opening an attachment to his lessons. Everytime we needed to print something Adobe freezes and the whole browser shut down. It's very time consuming speacially with the computer they gave us to use. You can't buy it in computer store anymore.

But I am glad because with all the stuff happened today, DH was able to bypass the attachment problems and we received the remaining materials for DS school. That is one of the reason also why we got done so late today. I let him read the missed books and activities on Lang Arts. Now we don't have to look for the books to read online. I am very thankful because some people write the books online and we are able to read them. He didn't missed so much, the only thing he missed was the book "Girl with the Milk Pail". He is learning about "Fable and Morals" in this unit. And we only do the assessments on Math because he basically know everything in this unit.

Yea, what a day!

Unique Gift of Hope

Some families are not lucky enough to have healthy genes. People should start eating healthy as soon as they find out that their family has a history of incurables diseases. Reading the ingredients in every label can help a lot when trying to eat healthy, and process food can be eaten in moderation. Many of us don’t even know that process foods are not good for our body. If you can’t read the ingredients on process foods do not consume it, simple enough right? Eating healthy food is the best way to take care of your health, and the best gift you can have.

In the other hand, Cryo-Cell’s stem cell cord blood preservation service is also beneficial. Stems cells found in cord blood are known to treat over 75 diseases including leukemia, anemia, lymphoma, diabetes and cerebral palsy. If you know someone who is having a baby and you want to make a big impact in their life, this is the best gift you can give them. Furthermore, even if they are not having a baby yet, I think this is a good gesture to tell them that you care. You can visit the Gifting Page to learn more about U-Cord Cryo-Cell’s stem cell cord blood preservation. And before going thru the process of preserving Cryo-cell’s make sure you know what you are getting into.

Do Flu Shot Works?

This man called up one of flu shot vaccine manufacturer, asking if the flu shot contains mercury. And you know what, the mercury was put in this vaccine for preservative. I don't know why people who get the flu shot keep insisting that it helps. Even the person who work for this manufacturer don't get this shot.

How much more mercury will they put in their body before they realize that this thing will never help them. That you need to eat healthy, exercise and take vitamins to prevent flu. If you only drink soda and eat in a fast food restaurants, you are a goner. Then they will get surprise when they have kids, and their kids are sick. They know that there is no history of any diseases in their family and now her child is sick. Think back on what you put into your body before saying "i don't know". It's all about money folks, as long as there are money in the world human kind will keep inventing drugs that are not necessary. You would think they are already earning billion that they should stop...a big fat NO. It's all about money and power over those who are weak.

Fashionable Maternity Clothes

You all know that I have five children, and having five children I went through a lot of maternity clothes. Furthermore, when I was pregnant I was working and had money to buy stylish maternity clothes. A few of our members at the financial institution I worked at thought that I am getting fat, because of my loose clothing. It’s not a very nice complement to obtained while pregnant. I think I would be just fine if they say I’m pregnant than saying I am fat. People can be a roughshod sometimes, don’t get me wrong I done it a few times in my lifetime (huh! I’m only human...he he he). However those words better keep unsaid.

The images (Are borrowed from Due maternity) I added to this post are close to what my outfits look like, when I was on the family way. Most of my tops are pastel and the bottoms are dark colors. I am not into dresses when pregnant and I only wore a dress once on our company’s Christmas party. The reason behind it was I look taller in slacks than a dress (I think lol). I wish I have known about Due maternity before. I love their collections and I will definitely recommend it to everyone who is pregnant. And don't forget the to use the code "BLOG1" to get a free shipping this holiday season.

Avoid Flu Shot With One Vitamin

Who amongst you gets flu shot every year? Are your newborn and other children gets them every year? You may want to watch this video before doing so. Thank god DH have the brain to not let the hospitals and pediatrician touch our children.

Flu shot DOES NOT prevent or AVOID getting a flu. You probably all know about it but just keep making excuses not to get it. Sun is the main factor why we are getting the flu during winter. Not because we don't get the flu shot. How stupid can you get?

Do you even know what they put with these vaccine? You may as well shot all the illegal drug on your body, because the outcome will be the same. And for those mothers out there who are mad to those kids who does not get vaccine...why? Since you believe that vaccine can prevent diseases you don't need to worry about your kids catching anything, do you. The kids that are not vaccinated are the one need to worry about the diseases when there is an outbreak in their school.

I think those people who are pro vaccine are the same people who thinks that everyone in this country should be equal, and believe that everyone should have a health insurance even if they don't have any money for pay for it. Sure, if you are willing to pay for it, give it to those who don't have it. But don't ask me to pay for people who can't even get a job and just live on welfare. The government does not pay for it...ok so tell me where they are getting the fund for it?

Sugar coating does not help our economy, and people like them does not help either.

No Sign Of Hardware

Tomorrow is already Friday and I haven't receive the computer for my DS home schooling yet. Not that we don't have extra lying around but I rather have him use the school provided. However I can't do anything but use the one we have until they ship it. When I checked his information about the shipment, the computer is still on process. My DD got her computer first, but this time DS got all his materials first.

What, they run out of computer? I'm looking forward for the weekend already...I'm already exhausted.

G'day everyone!

K12 knows that I also home school a Kindergarten. That means I can't leave her alone on her own because she can't read very well yet. Now they called me up to set up an appointment for my DS IEP. To my surprise she doesn't have any other appointment but in the middle of the day. Meaning we are half way to my DD class. Why can't they give me and appointment like 2pm? I never like being bothered by a phone and such when we are in class. I hate it, I even yell at DH when he does it to me. Furthermore, I bet if I tell her that I can't do the time she gives me, she will say that she doesn't have the time I wanted for at least a month. Ridiculous.

Plus, all the orientation they have is the same thing. Not to mention the days out for the kids. Is that means that they are excused from the class that whole day, and we don't need to catch up afterwards? I rather do everything first then, have fun later in the day.

I don't think I will ever let my DC attend any of these days out. We can always go to the park for these days out after they are finished with their classes.

Free Online Coupons

My sister in-laws called quite early on Saturday morning to ask my husband if he knows anything about Wal-Mart computer sale going on. First we did not know anything about it, and secondly we did not know that they are having some kind of sale on Saturday. We didn’t even get the circular on what is going on over there. It must have been some kind of secret sale, or something to that nature. Anyway, she also asks if we can look up online for some kind of coupon hoping she can save more. However, we didn’t have much luck finding any promo codes.
My husband and I are always in the look-out for any deals with electronics, accessories and office supplies. We need it more now since we are home schooling our children, from the printer inks to erasers and everything in between. We have a few office supply stores near us, and we always check online for coupons before going to these stores. Our Best Buy store opened not too long ago so that will be added to our lists of online coupon codes. I really don’t mind driving around when looking for a great deal with office supplies. With Best Buy coupons added, we will definitely see the savings from now on.

Materials Came For DS

Yes, some of his materials came yesterday and today. They are from K12 cyber school program, just like the ones for DD. We have 1 more week to get the rest of it. Hoping we get all of it before he start on the 17th.You will notice the K-2, DS is in 2nd grade.

The UPS driver even came back today after dropping off three boxes. We live in a horse shoe shape street. After delivering something at the other side of the horse he came back telling me he found one more box for us. I should probably give him something for Christmas because he is being so nice about it...we will

The boxes are filled too. I just didn't feel like taking all the materials out just to take a picture. I'm lazy He got more things than my DD. I like the science box because K12 sent him some cool stuff. I can't wait for his science class. I think I am more excited than him about it.

Swedish Auto Parts

Do you own Volvo or Saab cars? Do you do your own maintenance on any of them? Now you can easily find parts for them. At Swedish Parts Network you will find any Volvo Parts you need. We just had our vehicles inspected and we needed some work done to it. Lucky enough my husband have a friend who can put those parts for us. If not we will be paying way too much to get the work done for the two vehicles. The parts itself is cheap but they charge too much to put it in. Please visit Swedish Parts Network for all your auto parts need. They carry parts for most vehicle types and make.

Election Day

Don't forget to vote today my fellow Americans. We may not have a better choice for president but there's always questioners on the very top, you can answer that instead. Make sure to vote for people you know. Did you do your homework and research every candidates? Do you know their voting records?

I will admit that I am not voting for president this year. And I am not picking the less evil from the two either. In my opinion they don't deserve my vote. They only say what the people want to hear and after getting their votes same old stuff all over again.

This country started as a Republic and turning fast into Socialist, because a lot of Americans depend too much to others rather than themselves. I do like the comic cartoon I found in a blog showing children trick or treating and the man giving out candy saw that few of the kids have a lot of candy. He then told them that he is taking some of it and giving it to those who have less. One kid had a thought bubble saying "he must be Democrat". There are also Republican thinks that way. We call them the "Neo-Republican". And we (DH and I) belong to the farthest right of the right wing. We are the conservative of all conservatives. You may not think so because of my blog but this is a money maker blog. I know DH already say that "this blog should be a part of the solution not to be part of the problem. But it's hard, I do swallow my beliefs when it comes to my children with this blog. If I don't have any children I will never take paid post that are against my beliefs.

Anyway, don't forget to vote to change this country for the better. Then again it depends who you ask.

One Extra Hour

I woke up late this morning, because I was dropping EC until 12 midnight last night. DH came in the bedroom (he's been up since 4 in the morning) and found me just waking up. And I was telling him how late it is already. Then he told me that "no it's only 6 in the morning". Then it dawn on me that we get one extra hour for day light savings time. That is good to know, I think I finally caught up on my sleep. I have been sleep deprived since April (when we put the clock one hour ahead)...ha ha ha.

I think I've done every thing I needed to do, today and yesterday. I surprise myself sometimes...ha!

Don't forget to turn your clock back one hour.
