Get Out of Debt

Have you notice that it is getting harder and harder to get out of debt these days? Everything is getting expensive and most credit cards raise their interest rates. However, our earnings only rise once a year and sometimes they are not even enough to cover everything that is going up. One dollar to one dollar and a half does not even cover my property tax. We are off from credit cards debts and I am very happy. I can not disclose how we did it but they are available to everyone. You may want to start at and check what kind of Debt Relief they can offer you. As for me, if you know where I stand with everything that is going on in our country you know how I got rid of our credit card debts.

Almost Done

That pertain to my children paper works for new cyber schools. I sent out the two enrollment form about 75 pages of papers yesterday. I'm hoping it will not take a long time before they get back to us. I wanted to finish the orientations and get their hardware's and materials before the school starts.

The one for my Kinder is not finish yet because I just change the address on my electric bill to match my street address. This is one reason I hate about outside the city. I have a street address, mailing address and property address that can be use and I can receive letters from all three addresses.

Then when it comes to verifying my street address which UPS and FedEx uses it is kinda hard because the forms they wanted don't have the same address on them. But they all go to the same place. I wish they stick to one but no, they will make it hard for everyone. Then the mail people had a nerve to tell me to use the correct one. And why in hell you keep giving me letters that are not using the correct address.

What are their reasons for all of these?

Light Fixtures

I will be teaching three kids this school year. Two of my kids cubicles already have lights and the other don't. I am looking for a under the shelves lighting, because the wall and ceiling lights we have in the classroom put shadows on their heads and they can't see very well when writing. I need to check Premier Lighting fixtures and see what they have to offer. Plus, our master bedroom is in need of new wall lights too. I hate the ceiling lights we have there right now. They are too bright and right on top of us. Reading in bed is next to impossible. Now, how should I break it to my husband? (He is the one who will do all the work.)

Mellow Yellow Monday

More Paper Works

I will putting my two kids in different cyber school this year. I wanted to widen my knowledge on each cyber school curriculum and pick which I like or in this matter my kids likes. I already filled-up all the paper works and I'm just waiting for the medical and dental form.

After this I need to schedule a face to face meeting with the two cyber school and with my Kinder this year, I need to attend an online class. We still need to finish the non core classes or at least make it up to certain percentage. Then I need to call their current cyber school and withdraw them from it. And lastly pack all the returnable hardware and books to K12. I will be very busy doing all of these, not to mention I am potty training my youngest son.

My Kinder will be going to CCA, my 1st grader will go to PALCS and my 3rd grader will be going to CPDLF. I don't want to put their site here just in case something bad happens and I become reliable. You can probably google it under US cyber schools if you are curious who they are.

Then it comes to this

Someone is playing God here. I already voice out my dismay about government running the public school. Now this cyber school (Kids school) is not following the PDE's wishes and playing God. I don't agree with the PDE and as much as with the school. No one is right with this one.

Now, I'm researching for more other cyber school in my state. Re-enrolling my other 2 kids in another cyber school. Money can make everyone crazy.

Education Dept. moves to revoke Agora charter
By Martha Woodall
Inquirer Staff Writer

The Pennsylvania Department of Education yesterday began the process of pulling the plug on the Agora Cyber Charter School because the school's board failed to comply with the department's orders.

On June 11, the department directed the board of the Devon-based charter to cancel a contract with the school founder's management company and to resign within 10 days or the department would move to revoke the school's operating charter.
Agora's board did not act on either directive from the state.
Yesterday, the department filed documents to revoke the operating charter on grounds that the board mismanaged taxpayer funds and violated its charter by contracting with the Cynwyd Group L.L.C., a management company owned by Agora's founder, Dorothy June Brown.

A two-day revocation hearing is scheduled for Aug. 3 and 4 in Harrisburg, said Michael Race, a department spokesman.

While other cyber charters have closed, a revocation of Agora's charter would be a department first, Race said.

The department oversees the state's 11 cyber charters.
Joel L. Frank, Agora's attorney, said the school's board was not surprised by the department's action.

"It did what it said it was going to do," Frank said yesterday. "They can be expecting a forceful and prompt response from us."

Frank said Agora board members had considered both demands the department made 11 days ago and found them "unacceptable."

The cyber school's finances also are under scrutiny by the Philadelphia School District inspector general and by federal investigators as part of a widening criminal probe of charter operations.

Agora, which opened in 2005, enrolls 4,400 students across the state who receive online instruction at home.

Race said the department expected Agora to continue to operate and enroll new students for the 2009-10 academic year because the revocation and appeals process outlined in state law is lengthy.

"We do not expect any disruption," he said.

In documents filed yesterday, the department's attorneys alleged that Agora's board violated the school's operating charter by contracting with Brown's management company and then engaged in "efforts to conceal the existence of that agreement" in reports to the department.
The department alleged that Agora had used public funds to pay Cynwyd "exorbitant lease fees" for its Devon headquarters and "excessively unreasonable management fees" for "little or no discernible services."

The actual work, the department maintains, was performed by K12-Pennsylvania L.L.C., a for-profit education company.

Cynwyd was slated to receive $2.8 million from Agora's $41 million budget this academic year.

Since last month, all taxpayer money Agora receives has been deposited in an escrow account to prevent it from going to Cynwyd Group. Teachers and other employees are paid from that escrow account, officials have said.

In making the case for revoking Agora's charter, the department also contends that the school failed to complete audits and did not meet fiscal-management standards outlined in state law.

In addition, the department alleges Agora's board members breached their fiduciary responsibilities to provide independent oversight. Most members, the department says, were Brown's relatives or people who either worked at the three other charter schools she founded or served on their boards.

Frank, the Agora attorney, said he and his colleagues at Lamb McErlane P.C. in West Chester were still reviewing the lengthy, electronic filing they received from the Education Department yesterday.

He said many of the specific allegations were similar to those the department made in a suit filed in Commonwealth Court earlier this spring.

Race has said the department decided to withdraw the suit and use its administrative powers to make changes at Agora and, if necessary, close the school.

Mellow Yellow Monday

Everything Has A Reason
DH works as a landscaper and every time he does flowers beds he usually takes the flowers he takes out. This is one of those flowers. I will have a busy Monday, the kids and I is starting our two weeks vacation from their home lessons today. We will be spending so much time outside in the swimming pool, picking strawberries from our local farm and potty training my youngest (or at least start) from that two weeks off. Not to mention birthday parties, doctors appointments and wedding.

Have a mellow Monday everyone, please enjoy my entree today "yellow lilies".

Healthy Body, Healthy Mind etc

Everything Has A ReasonI always wish that I knew everything I know now then. Reminders from family and friends are not enough for me to take very good care my health then. I thought I know everything and that is always wrong now that I am getting old. I just wish I condition myself to eating healthy and exercise more before I started having children. That was long gone and I'm done having children too. I am so glad that none of them have hard to cure diseases. However, a few of them developed some kind of allergies or reaction to some food. All I can do now is preserve my menstrual blood at C’elle for their future use, just in case something goes wrong when I get old or out of this world.

If you have a history of these incurable diseases, you should check the C'elle benefits. We owe it to our children protect them and be ready for anything in this world. Please visit the pricing page and see which one you can afford. You can ask some of your relative to help you if you can’t afford it. Instead of giving you gifts for your birthday and every holidays maybe they can just give you the cash and use it to preserve your menstrual blood for the future use. Think about your family and keep yourself healthy.

Additional Information:

No matter how young or old we are, we always need our moms. And moms always want to be there for their kids. This is true when they’re young, when they’re teenagers, and even when they’re not kids anymore. That’s why it’s important for moms to care for themselves and take steps to protect their future.

Sure, there’s diet, exercise, breast self-exams and regular checkups at the doctor. But one powerful way that moms can take action may not readily come to mind: Storing their menstrual blood. Yes, menstrual blood! That’s because menstrual blood contains stem cells, those powerful building blocks of life. Today, stem cells of different kinds are used around the world to treat and even cure more than 75 conditions such as osteoporosis, leukemia, and Hodgkin’s disease, to name just a few.

From blood disorders, malignancies, immunodeficiencies and other inherited disorders, to many more promising developments on the horizon for dozens of new potential uses in the near future, scientists and doctors continue to make rapid progress. Some of the anticipated uses for stem cells being studied today focus on the treatment of conditions that affect so many women as they age.

Excuse Me?

I did grow up in a ultra conservative family. And we are practicing the ultra conservative life with mine right now. DH inform me that his best friend brother is coming over from Florida at the end of the month. He said that his sister in law (her husband is DH best friend who died in a motorcycle accident a year ago) will be with him. My brain started to think, "how come he did not mention his girlfriend coming?" What, he moved into his sister in laws life now and got rid of his girlfriend which by the way they have one son together. DH answer was this, "I don't see anything wrong with that". (What the h#$l?)

Is that the way ultra conservative people act, keep it in the family? My parents thought me never to date your cousins. The heck when they cousins it goes all the way to 10th cousins. Not even the brother of your brother in law or the sister of your sister in law (for the men) they are forbidden. Now that I am married to the most conservative man that I know and he is telling me it is ok with him...yuck in my opinion.

She is already part of the family, i say. Then he said, when he died she is not part of the family anymore. In the US maybe, but not the way my parents brought me up. Sorry, but if I die there is no way in hell you are marrying anybody in my family. You will always be a part of my family and our children will always be part of my family. It is the grandparents job to keep in contact if they mother or father re-married to non-part of the family.

I am so sick just thinking about this and kinda disappointed about DH beliefs too. Is that mean that if my oldest son and myself died in a car accident, that my husband can marry his daughter in law? Are they going to have kids too and now he has a grand kids and kids and own kids with the same woman? SO, the kids will have brothers and sisters and aunts and uncles at the same time. Or my younger son will marry my oldest son's wife, then they will have Uncle for a Dad and sisters or brothers for a cousins.

That is sick in my opinion. And there is no way I will let them do it, over my dead body. I saw so much back home with my cousins done the same way and I am not very fond of it. There is something wrong in their brain in my opinion. They are part of the family period. The ten commandment said do not covet your neighbor's wife (but I think they are talking about with the husband living) but you are telling me that is ok with your sister in law, brother in law or daughter in law? THAT IS SICK and my DH is making me sick thinking about this.

Third Week

This week is my last and third week taking the Chelation Pesto. I have been feeling dizzy since I the middle of first week I started. I don't really know if they are related or maybe I'm just lacking sleep and since I'm been eating less and less and my body needed more food to Maybe it is the mixture of the pesto, lacking sleep and food, who knows. The dizziness is not that bad that I may fall down, more like the feeling of light headed than anything.

Have I mention that DH hardly take the pesto, he can't take the smell anymore. I'm the only one left taking it right now. He rather eat the ingredients one by one than mixing them all together. Mind you he likes everything mix together when it comes to food. He never liked it when I cook seafood and had different taste because I cook it one by one then mix at the end. He likes it with one taste. He is weird sometimes and hard to figure out.

Everything Has A Reason Received a Double Award

Mr. Windy of Windmill on the Hill is kind enough to give the following awards. I met him from Blog Catalog last year. A very nice family man in my opinion. Everything Has A ReasonThis image is his blog header (I wish I can capture it as gif). Thank you Mr. Windy for the lovely award and Best Blog Award.

Everything Has A Reason

The Awards came with these Rules:

1) Accept the award, post it on your blog together with the name of the person who has granted the award and his or her blog link.

2) Pass the award to 15 other blogs that you’ve newly discovered. Remember to contact the bloggers to let them know they have been chosen for this award.

I would like to pass this along but I'm pretty sure they will never come and grab these anyway. So, I will save both us time and not pass this to bloggers I know. I pretty sure they will get it from someone else. Don't get me wrong I think they all deserve it, but I don't have patients waiting for them to grab it or even say thank when given to them.

SEO is Giving Me Headache

Well I tried to optimize my sites. I followed everything it says that I should do. Now when I added my feeds to sitemaps they are giving me errors that I don't know how to fix.

Yes, I was given example of what to look for but it's not telling me how to fix it. I think I have to leave it for about a week and go back and try fixing it later. I only started yesterday and I don't think I accomplished anything but adding my sites to Webmaster Tools.

Second Week & Counting

We are in our second week taking the Chelation Pesto for metal detox. We are supposed to take it for three weeks in the row to detox our blood from any harmful metal. It does not get easy every day. Or should I say, "it gets worst everyday". However I will do anything in the name of healthy living.

When we made it a week ago last Sunday, it taste fine. I told DH that I can eat it, but the more it sits in the jar inside the fridge, the taste gets stronger and so is the smell. It's getting harder to swallow it down. But let me tell you this, my meal gets smaller everyday and I'm hoping to get to my normal size after 8 years. And I am pretty much looking for it after all these years. I don't have to buy new clothes size anymore.

Furthermore, in my SIL's wedding in July I wanted to show off my new size. It's going to be a summer and outside wedding. I can't wait to look normal again.

Not Enough

I came from a conservative family. I married a man with very conservative backgrounds and beliefs. And I wanted my children to follow our family's values. That is one of the reasons why we took them out of public school and I try very hard to teach them at home with the cyber school lessons plan. Riding the bus for half hour a day and spending too much time inside public school, they can pick-up too many non-conservatives attributes. But hey, this is my family and not many like us in this world. If you belong with the different kinds and can not get enough just being with family and friends try thug chat and meet people just like you all over the world.

Chlorine in Water

Everything Has A Reason
I still remember when I am still living with my parents. Every time someone goes to the city for studies or work they all came back with much lighter skin. They love lighter skin from where I came from. I am blessed enough to have it and growing-up is not easy.

I am so glad that we don't have to use city water where I am now. We used to however, our house does not connect to the city water and in addition we are far from the city. We have our own water fresh from the ground. There is no chlorine or fluoride added however, we use a lot of filter to clean our water.

We all know that city water has chemicals including chlorine and fluoride. And taking your every day shower with this water will harm your skin. Most of us use it around the house like cooking and drinking. Don't be surprise that later on you catch something you can't explain. I know they tell you that those chemicals are within the reasonable amount for human consumption. Don't believe it, buy your own filter and filter your water.

Consider these facts about the danger of chlorine exposure -- and remember chlorine is just ONE of the chemicals in your water right now:

On average, you consume between 1-2 gallons of water a day, but on average you expose yourself to 25 gallons of water when you shower. The U.S. Council of Environmental Quality reports that cancer risks for people who drink chlorinated water are 93% higher than people who don’t.

Even if your skin repels 75% of all chemicals and toxins in the water, that still leaves 25% of chemicals that make their way through your semi-permeable skin and into your body. That means one 15-minute shower is the equivalent of drinking 8 glasses of polluted water.

But, it gets worse…

When you take a hot shower, toxic chemicals are liberated from the water and released as gasses, including chloroform (50% more released) and trichloroethylene (TCE) (80% more released) -- both known carcinogens

However, if you don't care, it's your health not mine. I'm just putting this information out for those health conscious like myself. This is most important for those women who are in the family way or thinking about having kids in the future.

Life Threatening Vitamin Deficiency

According to Wikipedia Vitamin B12 is a water soluble vitamin with key role in the normal functioning of the brain and nervous system, and for the formation of blood. It is one of the eight B vitamins. It is normally involved in the metabolism of every cell in the body, specially affecting DNA synthesis and regulation, but also fatty acid synthesis and energy production.

If you don't have adequate B12 levels in your bloodstream, you might notice some of the following warning signs:
  1. mental fogginess
  2. problems with your memory
  3. mood swings (got this)
  4. lack of motivation (sometimes)
  5. feelings of apathy (sometimes)
  6. fatigue and lack of energy (totally)
  7. muscle weakness (sometimes)
  8. tingling in your extremities (sometimes)
So, according to this study I better start taking vitamin B12. My goodness I'm wasting to Actually DH have the number 4 and number 6 for as long as I known him. We better go get some vitamin B12. We use to take it when he has the tick bite. However, when he got better we stop taking it.

Vitamin B12 is a powerhouse micronutrient for a whole host of reason according to Dr. Mercola. We need vitamin B12 for:
  1. Proper digestion, food absorption, iron use, carbohydrate and fat metabolism
  2. healthy nervous system function
  3. promotion of normal nerve growth and development
  4. help with regulation of the formation of red blood cells
  5. cell formation and longevity
  6. proper circulation
  7. adrenal hormone production
  8. healthy immune system function
  9. support of female reproductive health pregnancy
  10. feelings of well-being and mood regulation
  11. mental clarity, concentration, memory function
  12. physical, emotional and mental energy
You can get tested for B12 deficiency however, did anyone get overdose from vitamin B12? I don't think so, use your common sense. We all know that too much of something is not good. And why waste your money just to find out. You may as well spend your money buying the natural sources of vitamin B12 instead. Furthermore, make sure you buy the organic and non-commercially products around.
  1. beef and beef liver
  2. chicken
  3. pork
  4. raw milk
  5. eggs
Remember organic and non-commercial food. If you have plenty of land, it's better to grow your own instead of buying them in your local grocery stores. Eat healthy, live healthy. If you want more information about vitamin B12 you can google it or visit Dr. Mercola's website.

Best Deal In Car Insurance

Everything Has A ReasonThere are nine school days left for my eldest son. I reminded him yesterday to re-read his drivers manual just in case he needs to re-take the test to renew his learners permit. I think I have mention before that I will not help him get his driver license. However, to get him out of the house he needs to learn how to drive. Furthermore, I'm hoping his father can teach him how to drive this summer, since he will be spending his whole summer at his father house. Moreover, I can shop for insurance at Car Insurance Quote while he is away. I’m hoping his father can go half with the expenses, if not my son have to pay for the other half.

Tried it

I finally got all the ingredients for the Metal Detox recipe I posted way back. I had never seen so many cilantro in my life. We made one batch yesterday and we end up having one mason jar full. I'm not really sure how long will it last because there are seven of us. I am hoping that my little ones will be able to eat it.

Now I need to find how to get it in them.
