Mellow Yellow Monday

Golden Rod
Weeds, I don't really know what type of wild plant this is. However, it almost look like flowers you can mix in a bouquet of flowers. They grow wild around our house that is why I called it weeds.

The top red berry looks like bearberry, also called kenikenick. The yellow flower is golden rod, sometimes called scotch bloom. It is indeed beautiful on the mountain slopes, but some people are allergic to its boutiful pollen. it is a favorite of both birds and bees. To learn more, please visit:
