Mellow Yellow Monday/Pak Choy Flower

Pak Choy
Pak Choy
We had our very first cold temperature today. This is the beginning of fall and the last day of summer. I have to keep an eye to my drying seeds and make sure I get to them before they open and spread on the ground. This saving the Earth thing is not working very well. It's making the Earth weather crazy. I am for taking care of it e.g. don't trash it and go on the mass cutting and killing wild animals but this is ridiculous. Too much of something is bad and we are having too long of a cold weather. Earth is old and having wear and tear is possible.

Anyway, have a MYM.

Going on Vacation, Let VIP Sitters Help You with your Pets

If you are going on a trip, business or pleasure with a last minute plans you might want to check VIP Sitters, especially to those who own pet/s. Most of the times you can’t take your pets with you and they can help you with what you need, make it with all your pets need and pet walking services Toronto. We have one cat right now and every time we leave the house for anything the kids remind me to take her. She have a door to get in and out of the house and most of the time we only leave her for 8 to 12 hours and she have plenty of food and water inside the house. We can’t afford to go on vacation and even if we can, we have a nephew who can sit the house and our cats while we are away. How about you?

Cold Sores

From what I understand, as long as they are inside your mouth and no where else that is not a herpes. You are most likely having a mild allergy reaction for eating too much wheat (I mean in bread, pastas or anything that is made with wheat). You can also get it as a reaction from citrus fruits or anything citrusy (if that is a word) but you know what I am talking about.

I get this all the time when I don't watch my wheat and citrusy food intake. I have one right now, because I have been eating nectarines and a lot of seafood dip in vinegar or soy sauce and lemon. However, if you did not eat anything like I describe above you may want to ask your doctor about it.

If you want to get rid of it fast, put salt directly in the open sore. Do it until you feel numb. Make sure you do it in the bathroom because it will sure make you go number one. Repeat it again when it starts hurting. I promise you after 2 days you will feel much better.

Waste Collection Software

WastEdge
You probably know by now that we don’t live within the city limit. We have to hire our own waste collector if we want our garbage collected every week. In one incident they did not grab our garbage because they have a new person working. I think they need Waste Industry Management Software to track everything, especially if there are new people working for them. How will these new hire waste collectors will know how many cans to take without it? That would be really long lists on paper, I assume. Check it out and get your free trial.

Kindergartner Cubicle

Kinders CubicleI finally set up my Kindergartner's cubicle station. He is happy and very anxious to start right now. I still need to run his scheduler for his lessons sometime this week or next week. DD is only waiting for the materials and hardware to come. Wish me luck dealing with three kids this year. I know that I can only do what I can and I will try to do my best. I'm trying so hard not to think about it at this time. I just wanted to do it when it's time. No planning on how we are going to do it right now because I can't. I don't want to stressed myself out.

Travelocity Promotion Code

We have 1 week left of summer vacation. I am not really looking forward for the school to start because I have to teach three of my kids this year. And you know what; there are so much hoopla about attendance and how much time my daughter has to be online this year. My other two children need to complete 25 hours a week and it does not matter how many lessons they do in a day, as long as they can put the total of 25 hours. I still need to shop for materials for my Kindergartner this year. I have most of what he needed however; we are still missing a few things. Thank goodness for discount codes and tax deductions, I can afford to buy it.

Have I mentioned that we have not gone on vacation this summer? We only did a staycation because we can’t afford to go anywhere these days. I’m still hoping to go to Asia and visit my family in the winter months. We will definitely need a Travelocity promotion code if we are taking everyone with us. My father in law was nice enough to give us his airline points that time, and since we used all of them already, we need every codes and deals we can find if we plan on going. It would be nice if I still help with the finances around the house, but that’s not going to happen until the kids are off from school. I am their teacher, you know.

Flashy Jewelry

When I was living oversees on base, I saw plenty of dependents who have their noses up. Those dependents who were married to an officer will never speak to dependents who were married to an enlisted personnel. You can also tell by just looking at their Bling Bling Jewelry on top of each other. Do you fancy this type of jewelry? You can follow the link I provided to see nice ice out jewelry.

Ruby Tuesday

We have four of this Barberry bush outside our upstairs window. The bedroom used to be our master bedroom and gave it up for our kids classroom. The window is the closest to the ground and DH planted it there to used when the kids are teenagers. It will sure stop them from escaping our house in the middle of the night. Our bedroom is downstairs and I can hear them when they attempt to escape. Barberry bush outside the windows will sure work, well hopefully...lol.

Can you see a cat tail in the picture? That is our cat, she is my buddy because she follows me every where when I'm outside the house.

Mellow Yellow Monday

This one was taken when my DD was two years old. Wild Daisies growing around our house. I know I have taken a picture of them this year but somehow I can't find them.

I even brought some of them to my SIL wedding (that was her theme, daisies) and pretty sure I took a picture before I cut all of them. But there is a chance I deleted them before uploading to my computer.

Happy MYM to everyone.

The Truth About Cholesterol

I was reading Dr. William Douglass II book about "The Biggest Medical Conspiracy of the Last 50 Years", yes I read...sometimes...lol. And he was talking about cholesterol, we all know how much commercial you will see on how to lower your cholesterol all these years. Believe it or not, he is saying that cholesterol are good for our brain and there is no health danger having a high cholesterol count.

He said, " when people try to strict diets, a small number, called "high responders", can lower their blood cholesterol by about 10 percent. The rest of us can totally give up saturated fat and cut calories like crazy, but we'll see only a 5 or 6 percent drops in cholesterol."

That's because your body needs cholesterol and your liver fights back when you try to take it away. All the diet does is make you deficient in a nutrient you need. Study after study proves high cholesterol is associated with longer life, he added.

Did you know that having a low cholesterol count is linked to cancer? Old people with low cholesterol dies faster too, according to him. My parents was taking this cholesterol lowering pills while they are here. Mind you I am killing them by giving those things to them. I am so glad they went home and stop taking those stupid pills.

Lower cholesterol is also link to cancer. You are watching too much on how much cholesterol you are eating and guess what, not good for you. Most of our cholesterol are in our brain and our brain needs it to function the correct way. The medical people are too proud to change their minds, why you ask? Because pharmaceutical companies will not earn their millions without people to take and buy their so called medicine. Live the way people live in the early years. You have more chance living longer and healthier that way.

You don't believe me, go check his site and read what he has to say about living healthy. Call me nuts I can care less, this is my life and my family's we are talking about here and that is enough for me.

I'm not Ready for School to Start

Daughter's cubicleThis is my DD cubicle, I sent back the computer that used to be there. She have an orientation next Tuesday for the new school. I am hoping we can take home whatever she needed for school. I feel like we are running out of time for her hardware and materials.

3rd grader cubicleDS who is going into third grade owns this one. We got all his materials from the school he was in last year. We tried enrolling him somewhere else but they are taking their time getting back to me. I left a message at the end of July to please call me back before or on the first week of August and no one bothered to call me. I called the old school and asked them to re-send his materials. And guess what, I got in within two days. I'm still not very happy about the BOT and the founder of the school but this have to do until next year. I hate waiting and doing things in the last minute, I get stress and my stress is not good for my students.
Kindergartner's hardware & materialsThis materials and hardware I got at the beginning of July. I did not set it up yet because I don't trust my son (K) around a computer. When he gets mad he throws and scratch things. Mind you we don't own these stuff. Maybe I will set it up next week to give him a feel and to start reminding him that he's only using it for school.

I want one more month of vacation. I have not enjoy my vacation yet, not to mention I did not feel the summer at all, except for that one day, Monday. Any volunteer to help me teach my 3 children this year? I'm trying not to think about it too much because I am stressing out. However, I will teach them anytime if my other choice is to send them in brick & mortar school.

New Bed for Us

Hubby and I are looking for a new bed, we have a queen size mattress bed right now and we would like to have a water bed, preferably king size to fit everyone. Our kids love to sleep in our bed and we really don't mind. We get our parent and child time better that way. The above photo is a contemporary furniture at eRoomService that I like. And I don't really mind if we can't get the water we wanted and get this bedroom set instead. We like the water bed because we are pretty sure that when winter comes, it will be very cold in our bedroom. The water should keep us warm on those frigid nights in the north.

Mellow Yellow Monday (Tulip)

Orange Tulip
Would you believe that is the only one I have. It flower every year but it does not seems to spread or have babies. I know it is orange, but can you see the inside with the yellow. You can even see my shadow in the picture. Happy MYM everyone.

Like to Jog/Run

In recent study suggests that barefoot is the way to run. Strong evidence shows that thickly cushioned running shoes have done nothing to prevent injury according to Dr. Mercola's article.

Going barefoot allows your foot to flex and absorb shock. It would hurt in the beginning but your feet will get use to it. I think start in your local beach then gradually move to your regular path. I use to go barefoot when ever my mom asked me to get some vegetables in our farm. She told me that I get better traction walking in the field that way. And guess what, scientist don't even have to do any study about it. People who are use to doing things in certain way knows what they are talking about. Going barefoot gives you flex, shock absorption, traction, balance good for your health.
