Getting Organize in Cyber School

Office FurnitureI teach my cyber schooling children and we needed plenty of room for their hardware and materials. I am very thankful that my husband got the idea to buy Office Furniture with shelves to put their books into. I have heard plenty of cyber schooling parents that they don’t even have space to put extra table for their kids’ computer. We have lost our master bedroom to give our kids classroom but we have plenty of other place to put our master bedroom to. Having their materials on the shelves in a cubicle of their own made it less messy in our house. Furthermore, we bought enough cubicles for more than four kids just in case something breaks and we already have a replacement for it.

The Adventure of the Little Wizard

Have you join the adventure of Jack Quest this year? I sure did, and the images are my entrees for the quest. I don’t think I can go very far without my Mom’s help but I think I will receive plenty of ooh’s and aah’s when my mom take me out looking like this. Don’t you think so? Please follow the button on the bottom of this post and vote for me if you think I am so darn cute with this outfit my mother made for me. This is very comfortable and not to mention will keep me warm during this chilly season.

I'm a Wizard
My Mom said she doesn’t know how to make any costumes, can you tell she doesn’t know how to make a costume with my pictures? I think she did a fantastic job with it, but then again I am being bias because she is my Mom. However, if your Mom can’t make something like this, you can always ask them to Buy Halloween Costumes Online or in a Halloween Store Near You. Halloween adventure is offering a 10% discount or free shipping to the first 100 customer’s infrequent basis. Make sure you check Jack Quest site frequently, you can also follow Jack’s World on facebook to get the latest. And before you go please vote for me below.

Looks pretty good without my cone hat. My hair does better.

Logic

My 3rd grader receives speech services from his cyber school. They come to my house to do 30 minutes sessions for occupational therapy and two 30 minutes a week for speech. Yesterday, his speech therapist talk to me about giving him rewards for doing well on the exercises she gave him.

Ok, that is fine but do not give him food as a reward, I told her. She insisted that she's been doing this a long time (well you don't have to tell me that because it shows you are old and you told me what you do) and giving the kids other that stickers works really well.

First, you are in my house please do not forget that. We only said "yes" to these services because we are paying for it with our tax dollars and we are nice enough to give someone the job so that you will get paid. I do not tell you how to do your job which it seems to you that you have the right to tell me how to do mine as a mother. I did not argue anymore about it because I don't want my son to end up in the poster home. However, I did not say yes either. I could have argue with her forever about it but these kind of people are hard core socialist and every explanation I gave out does not matter and why waste my time.

When his evaluation comes, I don't think that I will say yes anymore to renew the services. These people are more interested on how we bring our kids than teaching them what they are supposed to teach them. If ever any of my younger ones need this kind of services, I will never let them test them for it. I want my family to stay together and no government agencies will come to my house to tell me other wise. I don't pay them to tell me how to rise my family and they better butt out. And mind their own business.

Easy To Swallow Salad

This would be my mother in law; she does not eat anything that needs chewing. From what I saw and what she says I find it quite true. However, she would eat organic potatoes chips inside her car, but will never touch anything organic that I made for a meal. I will definitely recommend the website to her. She actually makes me feel bad when she does not eat in my house during holiday gathering or any other times to tell you the truth. We don’t have a very big dining table and she just take up room for those who wanted to eat.

Salad Pill
Anyway, please visit the site and get an entire salad in one revolutionary pill. However, if you are picky just like my mother in law’s you might want to read every ingredients they put in it before consuming some yourself. This is just information to let you know that you can now swallow your salad for those who don’t like eating it fresh, or if you do not have any teeth :) (just kidding). My family consumes quite a number of fruits and vegetables in a pill form. It works really well with my picky son, I mashed them in water and add a little of sugar and down it go.

Pumpkin & Cantaloupe FlowersThe year was 2007, I had cantaloupe and pumpkin. The big flowers are from the pumpkin and the little on on the right was from cantaloupe. I did not taste it because I left it out until it was too ripe. My kids made a jack-o-lantern out of the only pumpkin that year.

DD is Bored with her Curriculum

She feel like she is not doing anything in school. There are set of lessons per week and so far she gets 4 LA, 3 Math, 1 Science, 1 Social Studies and Art every other week as well as Music.

I think she got use with K12 last year that she need to do LA and Math everyday and the rest are twice a week, including PE as once a week. This time since we switch school is kinda very easy for her. DH suggested to maybe cover a lot more in one lesson a day. That means we can finish early and maybe do some summer classes if she allowed to advance.

I also miss the K12 curriculum because everything is planned for us. All we have to do is follow what the days plan are. Plus her Social Studies this year is so boring however the Harcourt curriculum is much colorful than K12. I asked her today if she wanted to transfer back to the same school last year and without hesitation she answered me with "yes".

I told DH that she is bored with her lessons. I did not brought the fact that I asked her if she wants to transfer back and if she said yes. So far this is our second week with this cyber school. I'm still waiting for a layout lesson plan for her. However, tomorrow is Friday and I'm not seeing lesson plans.

Furthermore, I am bias towards K12. I did not have any problem following their lessons. Its still very early in the year, I'm sure we can catch up with the lessons if we decide to switch back. Decisions, decisions...which one...stick with this one and finish the school year or switch.

I better sleep on it first...lol. I'll decide over the weekend.

Blood Type Diet

I have mention here last year about the blood type diet. I read it from "The Maker's Diet" by Jordan S. Rubin book. A little old book but hey, if you trying to lose weight you need to try everything.

It stated that type O blood are descended from the earliest human, who were physically active and ate a diet composed mostly of meat with little or no grain. Even now you are require to eat large amounts of meat and a lot of exercise.

Type A descended from agrarian humans, are more docile, thrive on vegetables and fruits and should avoid meat and dairy products.

Type B descended from nomadic herders, thrive on dairy products, and require only moderate exercise.

Type AB do not handle meat well, they should eat fish, grains and soy base products.

Proponents of the blood-type diet claim that lectins, especialized protiens in foods such as cereals and beans, are incompatible with certain blood types, causing many ailments such as kidney failure, arthro-sclerosis, and food allergies.

Try it out, you have nothing to lose just to try it. And of course if you are allergic to any of the food said under your blood type do not eat it. These are just guidelines when you are trying to lose some weight.

My DH and I are both type B and we don't eat much meat. DH loves milk and I am milk intolerance. I did not grow up with it and after taking the Chelation Detox, I was able to drink raw milk with no problem. My ODS who is AB blood type loves to eat meat and pasta. Maybe that will catch up with him later on, I don't know.

Thanks to My Top EC Droppers in August

All of my top droppers visited my blog 30 times last month. I have to think of something how to display all of you for a month in my side bar as appreciation. I will try doing it this weekend because my house hold is in chaos this week. School started and I am my three children teacher. I am dividing my time between three grades students. Anyway, before I forget...thank you for the visit everyone.
