The End is Near

School days that is. I can finish my kinder's lesson in a week or even a few days if I wanted. However, his teacher told to spread out his lessons up to June 4th. The kid only does one lesson a day now.

My DD (1st grader) is still catching up with 5 of her lessons. She is doing 5 lessons a day. She finished History and Art at the end of April. Now she is doing Science, Music, Phonics, Language Arts, and Math for 5 days. We are near the end of Math also.

DS who is in 3rd grade will be done in June 11th. His last day of school for both 1st and 3rd graders. He still has to finish a book report before the end of May. ODS is graduating on June 11th at 7PM. After that I don't even know if I will see him again. Last year he told me that he will spend his summer with us, but right now it doesn't look promising. He has an orientation on July 21st at the University he picked. More like, his father picked for him.

Anyway, counting the days here. I wanted to spend more time outside soaking in the sun. I think my vitamin D is almost gone or already gone because I have already gotten sick. I need to tan my skin again, I hate it when I can see the veins through my skin. Not to mention my dark hair are also showing.

I can't wait for my kids to be done with all the requirements, and I can relax for a while. I need a very long vacation.

PSSA Over

I am so relieved that my 3rd don't have to stress out about this testing anymore. I am so proud of him sticking to our routine during the testing. I have to reward all of them with McDonald food. I know, but they all deserve it. This food is not eaten too often in my house. We will be lucky if we go there 3 times a year.

Anyway, this is standard testing for the school to keep their license. This is not for the student to test what they have learned. The board of education is testing the kids to make sure the teacher or school is teaching them something. Weird, in my opinion, and I am 100% against it. I do love my children, and we have to abide with the nonsense regulation to keep my kids with me.

You know what will happen if I refuse, they will give my kids away to someone they think is the suitable parent and brainwash my kids. You don't agree, you better dig deeper of what you know about the so called government organizations.

Our testing was from the previous Tuesday to Thursday.
