There are so many out there. Today I will only cover the basic from my 1st grader (DD finished 1st grade). We have /sh/ like in ship and fish. /ch/ like chin, chat and much. /th/ like in thin and math. /wh/ like wham and what. /ck/ like duck and buck. You can see see two digraphs in the word whack and there are others. When you see the above examples they contains only one sounds. The word wish is counted with 3 sounds when doing the finger stretching.
Yes, you better believe it. I have 2 boxes going out today. Returning the books we used from the previous school year. I bet the new ones will come a few weeks. K12 is fast when sending new curriculum to their students.
We finally decided to put my K (going on 1st grade) to the same school where the other two belong to. My youngest still have 1 more year. I was thinking he will be my traditional home school kid. I don't need to report anything until he is 8 years old. Since the other three are already registered, I can't do anything about it now. I can't cry over spilled milk.
I don't need to return any consumable items. I already return the other school stuffs last week. They told me to keep the printer and headphones. Now we have extra printer that takes a very expensive ink :( and more headphones...my kids go through headphones like no tomorrow. I only have one good left, and everything are just headphones. They can't use them to chat to their teacher.
Anyway, that's it for today. I will try to enjoy to my summer vacation and relax. Happy summer everyone!
Last week I woke up with in my left wrist area. I can't remember what happened to it. I am not left handed, so it's not the pain for using the mouse. I tried putting my wrist band with magnet for about a day, nothing had change. I cannot use it to open anything, nor I can't crush garlic with it.
On the third day, the part that was hurting turned red and a little swelled. The fourth day was on Sunday, and we went to a freedom picnic. I did not do anything all day but watch our kids and making sure they are not getting into trouble. Now my wrist had about an inch square redness and not hurting as bad. Yesterday, I woke up with no pain at all but still a little red.
For the life of me, I cannot figure out what happened. However, I am glad that it's not hurting anymore.
