How to Write Titles of Books and Poems

I never knew that there are many rules on how to write titles. It's probably the main reason why I'm not a writer...:))
  • When writing by hand, underline the book title. Ex: Ramona Quimby
  • When typing  a book title, use italics. Ex:  Ramona Quimby Age 8
  • Writing by hand of type written poem titles always have "quotation marks." Ex: "Summer's Day"
Writing a title of poem in a sentence, put period or comma inside the quotation marks. Just like when writing a sentence with direct quotations.

Example of poem titles in a sentence: I love "Summer's Day," but my favorite is "The Pink Cow."

Example of direct quotation in a sentence: "Get out of there!" yelled Tonja.

Do you remember all of that? I'm sure cannot remember everything. This is why I need to write about it, and come back here when I needed to use them.
